Show kids with food allergies the meaning of inclusion by having a teal pumpkin outside your home. Part of the annual Teal Pumpkin Project, the teal color indicates that your treats include food-free loot. With our ideas for amazing food-free toys and gifts, you’ll hear nothing but cheerful sounds emanating from the darkness on Halloween night.

Getting Teal Ready

FARE’s Teal Pumpkin Project Gear

The major non-profit launched the project across North America in 2014. Today, it teams up with several allergy non-profits to promote this safe treating program.

Get into the spirit of a teal Halloween with free resources from FARE’s website. Download signs for your door, flyers to hand out, coloring sheets, and masks.

Available at Foodallergy.org (U.S. & Canada)
In Canada, Food Allergy Canada has Halloween bracelets here as part of its ‘Shine A Teal Light’ initiative. Signs are also available here.
